A person’s livelihood is their means of securing the necessities of life. As unemployment rates soar and the Yemeni Riyal plunges, many are struggling to meet daily needs.
Pure Hands implements income-generating projects to reduce poverty and improve the livelihoods of poor households. We want to ensure that every family has an equal chance in life within its social, political, and economic circumstances.

Animal Husbandry

Animal husbandry is the branch of agriculture concerned with animals that are raised for meat, fibre, milk, or other products. It includes day-to-day care, selective breeding, and the raising of livestock.
In low resource settings, animal husbandry provides sustainable income and thereby increases living standards. Our beneficiaries are able to benefit their families while contributing to the local economy.

Rural Women’s Development

Pure Hands plays a leadership role in the livelihood sector. We aim to reduce poverty and improve the livelihoods of poor households to promote self-esteem and self-reliance. 

Through this project, we aimed to improve the livelihood of rural women in the Al-Baidha and Al-Hodeidah governorates. We distributed livestock including sheep and cows. A total of 22 women benefited from this project.
