Pure Hands Australia implemented a series of Ramadan humanitarian programs across Yemen, providing food assistance to 2,286 beneficiaries in Aden, Marib, and Taiz.
During the holy month of Ramadan, vulnerable and displaced families received food baskets, family Iftar meals, and Zakat Al-Fitr assistance. The programs aimed to reduce food insecurity, ease the financial pressure on low-income households, and help families observe Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr with dignity.
With the support of Pure Hands Australia, the Ramadan programs achieved the following results:
- 56 Ramadan food baskets distributed
- 336 food basket beneficiaries reached
- 300 family Iftar meal packages distributed
- 1,800 Iftar beneficiaries reached
- 25 families received Zakat Al-Fitr assistance
- 150 Zakat Al-Fitr beneficiaries reached
- 2,286 total beneficiaries supported
The family Iftar meal distributions were implemented across Aden, Marib, and Taiz, while the Ramadan food basket and Zakat Al-Fitr activities supported vulnerable families in Taiz Governorate.
For beneficiary families, this assistance represented more than food. It provided relief during a difficult period, reduced immediate household expenses, and allowed families to share Ramadan meals and prepare for Eid with greater dignity.

The success of the programs was made possible through the support of Pure Hands Australia teams, volunteers, local representatives, and partners who helped identify eligible families, organize the distributions, and document the activities.
Pure Hands extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to these Ramadan programs.
May Allah accept every contribution and reward all donors and supporters abundantly.
